The RC&D has developed cooperative agreements with the US Fish and Wildlife Service for the a wide variety of conservation related partnership projects including stream modeling, stream habitat restoration, conservation planning, and environmental education services. Projects completed to date include the development of a stream bank erosion prediction tool, a “Connecting People with Nature Workshop”, designing Parents in nature programs, design of environmental education outreach tools, assess and restore fish and waterfowl habitats, development of design plans for bio-retention demonstration project, implementing fish passage projects, stream assessment and restoration projects, habitat conservation planning and monitoring, and aging fish populations, The status of these projects is ongoing.
