Madelyn is WMRC&D’s Grazing Specialist based in Forest Hill, Maryland. In this role, Madelyn is responsible for promoting, designing, and implementing prescribed grazing plans and conservation practices associated with livestock including, but not limited to, dairy and beef, horses, goats, and sheep. She provides direct technical assistance to landowners and cooperators and works with a variety of project partners to accomplish landowner goals and implement conservation practices. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and policy, concentrating in soil, land, and water resources. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and being a plant and dog mom!
