John Knowles-Kellett is WMRC&D’s Program Support Specialist in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He works with USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), landowners, and agricultural producers to implement conservation programs in Prince George’s County, Baltimore, and Washington DC. He is responsible for helping producers with eligibility, completing field work (mostly soil health tests and wildlife habitat evaluations), processing forms, maintaining records, and handling various tasks that pop up around the office. He enjoys reading, playing with dogs, wandering around in the woods, and living on a boat. He tolerates cats, paperwork, and writing about himself in the third person.
