Noah Jack is WMRC&D’s Forestry Conservation Technician covering the western region of Maryland. In this position, he works with farmers, landowners, government agencies, contractors, and other partners to provide technical assistance for resource conservation and forestry management projects, including forest stand delineation, data collection, timber marking, and oversight on project implementation. Prior to this role, Noah proudly served in the West Virginia Army National Guard. A Native of Allegany County, he picked his field based on his appreciation of working outside, especially in the woods. Noah graduated from Allegany Community College of Maryland in spring of 2023, earning a degree from one of the finest forestry programs in the state. Noah also worked for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources in Green Ridge State Forest before coming on board with WMRC&D.
