Claire Snyder is WMRC&D’s Grazing Specialist based in Hagerstown, Maryland, a position which is funded by a cooperative agreement with USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). In this role, Claire assists with the implementation of conservation programs and provisions included in the Farm Bill. Claire focuses on promoting, designing and implementing prescribed grazing plans and conservation practices associated with livestock. Her responsibilities include working on farms with all types of livestock, including but not limited to: dairy and beef, horses, goats, and sheep. She provides direct technical assistance to landowners and cooperators and works with project partners to implement conservation practices and deliver in-field support to external customers and NRCS field office staff.
